Why we exist
We believe that we are able to live off nature, in its simplicity and beauty, which can eventually lead to health, happiness, prosperity and spiritual enlightenment. Our body is a temple that should be kept clean, safeguarded and healthy.
Why traditional foods?
We feel there is more to culture's food than just filling the stomach and pleasing the palate.
Natural, traditional food ties us to our heritage and fosters the development of a stronger, healthier community where everyone can co-exist in harmony with one another and the environment.
If we all ate a bit more traditionally and consciously, we would have a healthier and happier society, because the saying “ you are what you eat” (we add)“…and you eat what you are” is so true.
Our Mission
We are urbanizing traditional food
The mission is to nourish humankind with happiness, simplicity and good vibes through a healthy dose of wholesome nutritious traditional food.
We do this by producing the highest quality, naturally grown, fresh, no-nonsense Kombucha, grains, legumes and pulses, (oh and so much more) adding value to traditional foods without tampering with its integrity. Simple to use, and readily available for your convenience.
Our products are traditionally hand-made with love.
We don't compromise on quality and, by guiding and educating others, we strive to do what is best for them, which makes life so much more worthwhile.
How We Do It?
Although we grow a lot of the traditional foods ourselves, we source our ingredients and support mainly women owned small scale growers and service provider.
We go the extra mile, (while watching those carbon footprints) to co-grow our ingredients locally and ethically.
We love to share our knowledge, recipes and experiences.
Our hope…
We strive to use environmentally friendly packaging where we can and encourage responsible disposal. We have a small recycling rebate program running.
We wish more people would join us, so we can really make a difference and make healthy foods more affordable and meaningful.
We might not always get it right, all we can do is try our best and be eager to improve.
